The thing is, why would the system collapse? Sure old people are gone, but there are enought people that want to take their placed and who also don’t have such a history.

Plus, what system are they afraid will collapse? The judicial system? Corporations? Those CEOs that are caught up in it can be replaced (at a cheaper rate, too).
      Just prosecute already!

    3. The “system” will not even notice their absence. There are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of equally skilled people ready and willing to replace them. Capable of doing everything they “do”, and more.

      And they know this.

    4. If only this would happen it might be worth it. “The system” needs to be fixed. Justice needs to be a real thing. Even for the rich.

    5. The system would likely thrive without all the backroom deals and blackmail going on at the highest levels because of this.

I like how this ignores the fact that we’re living in a dystopian hellhole anyway because we can’t protect our children against the obscenely wealthy or even gun violence in their schools.

When it comes to prosecution, I’ll take:

“Things that’ll never occur in reality for $200, Alex…”

Why. . . WHY is the answer that we let the creeps in the system continue on instead of just, you know, BUILD a new system without them? If these absolute freaks are in these positions of power then the question should be why are they there and what does it mean, not “oh no, they are there by a law of nature ergo we must not topple the jenga tower . . .”

    9. If prosecuting everyone in the Epstein files collapses the system, then the system is broken and deserves to collapse. Simple as that

    10. Even accepting that the system would collapse (doubtful) and ignoring that the US was built to survive such a collapse, why is that an excuse not to prosecute those who participated in the worst known child sex trafficking ring known to the present day world?

I’d rather see us need 1000 special elections than see these known collaborators go with criminal charges.

    11. We destroyed the system, but for a beautiful moment we COULDN’T prosecute all the untouchable rich criminals.

If the system you have requires the literal rape of children then it should collapse.

..most ridiculous shit ever. We don’t need any of them. The entire ‘system’ is crafted to replace almost everyone every few years anyway.

    14. “But the system will collapse” these dumb mfs really think they’re irreplaceable gifted people that hold society from crumbling apart. Since when hoarding money and eating childrens are necessary for the system to work?

    15. This system isn’t nearly as fragile as they are making it out to be. I mean…..if you want to call the ‘system’ their little club of megalomaniacs, sure, but we will be more than fine after we jail these motherfuckers.

    16. That’s the beautiful thing about democracy AND capitalism: both would function perfectly with a whole new set of players that don’t rape minors.

      Time for a Great Decrustation.

Remove all the political crust in Washington, remove all the lobbyists and send mostly independant elected officials, or new democrats.

    18. I thought the whole “elect trump” “do the Doge” and “project 2025” was supposed to crash the whole system?
