      The thing is, why would the system collapse? Sure old people are gone, but there are enought people that want to take their placed and who also don’t have such a history.

      Plus, what system are they afraid will collapse? The judicial system? Corporations? Those CEOs that are caught up in it can be replaced (at a cheaper rate, too).
      Just prosecute already!

      The “system” will not even notice their absence. There are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of equally skilled people ready and willing to replace them. Capable of doing everything they “do”, and more.

      And they know this.

      Why. . . WHY is the answer that we let the creeps in the system continue on instead of just, you know, BUILD a new system without them? If these absolute freaks are in these positions of power then the question should be why are they there and what does it mean, not “oh no, they are there by a law of nature ergo we must not topple the jenga tower . . .”

      Even accepting that the system would collapse (doubtful) and ignoring that the US was built to survive such a collapse, why is that an excuse not to prosecute those who participated in the worst known child sex trafficking ring known to the present day world?

      I’d rather see us need 1000 special elections than see these known collaborators go with criminal charges.

      Remove all the political crust in Washington, remove all the lobbyists and send mostly independant elected officials, or new democrats.
