I picked this up from Romae Aeternae Numismatics on [VCoins.com](http://vcoins.com/) for $115.
The reason why I believe the reverse on this coin may have been defaced is because there are no scratches on the face or torso of Jupiter, which is likely due to wear. This tells me that those scratches are likely original and didn’t happen during the cleaning process.
The Temple of Jupiter was built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem?
