      “Hand to God”??? Just so everybody knows, you don’t have to testify or make a sworn statement on the side of the road. Cops are the dumbest of us. They don’t hire these idiots because they’re smart.

      Do american cops get like reward or something on every case or ticket they gave to a person? Like why r they so committed? I remembered theres like one video where cops stopped a blind guy accusing him of having a weapon in his back pocket which turns out to be his walking stick and the cops insisted it was a weapon.

      How can someone be like that? This doesn’t feel like reasonable human behavior. I just can’t comprehend what is happening in this cops head. Is he just on a constant power trip and he felt like he was “disrespected” by this woman? I really don’t get it. To me this behavior feels so alien.

      If the prosecutor doesn’t dismiss this immediately I’d be shocked. I’m an attorney and would definitely take this to trial just for the hell of it. You may then have a claim against the Sheriff’s office. A small claim, but a claim nonetheless. Edit: take it to trial to defend it not prosecute it.

      All charges of this were dropped yesterday before she had to appear in court. I assume the judge also saw the body cam video

      I called the police last week to amend a police report because the other driver in a collision gave me and the RO an expired insurance policy which the RO didn’t actually verify at the scene. The cop on the phone literally asked me what I thought they were gonna do. I said “suspend this drivers license and issue him a ticket.”

      Cop – “Well if we pull him over again they yes we’ll do that but what is updating the police report goin g to do?”

      Me – “How do you even know who to ticket if you have a police report on file that says this guy has legit insurance. If you’re not going to verify it at the scene then he can just keep giving you the same expired information?!”

      Cop- “Im not going back and forth with you” Hangs up on me.

      Chicago 1st District Central. Absolutely useless bunch of cops.

      It got dismissed by lack of evidence…

      So clearly the cop was lying since she could immediately proof him wrong. Still the cop insists being correct, what an absolute idiot. We should terminate all cops that do this kind of stuff.

      Update: the case was dismissed today.

      Edit: I wonder if her lawyer told her to take down the videos and she is suing him? I don’t have a TikTok, this is just what I was told. I think she put her account or videos back up?

      Definitely seems like it should be illegal for a cop to make someone swear an oath to god that they didn’t do something lol
