9/11 jokes were funny about 15 years ago when it was more recent this making it more funny and relevant. 25 years after the event though is it really still funny to many? It’s kinda stale honestly at this point as an American who grew up hearing jokes and watching meme videos online about it since like 2006.
Not the finest joke, and it must be horrible to see something like this made a meme for victim families, but as someone who -more than often- hears American citizens joke about Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, I feel… Well… no, neither makes me feel good actually.

Most of the world got hurt way more than you did on 11/9 at one point or the other, and we see your gross overreaction as beyond cringe.
So you got hit by a terror attack, who didn’t?
