      That’s cool, but they did had a terrible famine in the 20th century causes by their wannabe Communist government

      I mean it’s not wrong. They had some famine in the 1980s, and the current government is waging a war against their own people if I remember it correctly.

    3. Ethiopia is just…sad. They should have been the Japan of Africa, a country that fended off colonialism and industrialised itself into a power but it just never happened.

    4. In the third century AD, the Kingdom of Aksum which included most of what’s now Ethiopia was considered to be one of the four biggest and most powerful ancient civilizations, the other three being Rome, China, and Sassanid Persia.

      Ethopia is dissapointing they could have been much more. The number of Ethopian immigrants caught in Zambia on their way to South Africa, usually transported by smugglers is alarming. We begin to as if this is the same Ethopia we know or things are different outside Addis Abba. One of fastest growing economies, but it does not look like their people are benefiting from it.
