    2. You can save the old one with a big brass brush and some barkeeper’s friend

    3. its mostly carbon buildup. You can soak it in peroxide and get most of it out

      Any high alkaline cleaner and hot water should be able to get that off.

    5. I use parchment liners. I generally don’t have this problem, but if something gets on the basket/tray I stick it in the dishwasher.

    7. A lot of people are saying just clean it, but these chrome plated wire ones do degrade over time. I’ve used proper lye baths, barkeeps friends, and even dishwasher on mine, and what results is a rusty basket once the carbon buildup is gone. After too many years they just wear out.

    8. I think I have the same model, it gets nasty fast and is a huge pain to clean

    9. We bend those Korean bbq grills into shape to fit. Those are disposable and cheap. Not the most environmentally friendly but the original on our cuisine art is old and can’t be saved.
