Dad was having a hard time acknowledging that kids change what kind of car you need…
Just for reference the 66 Chevy Biscayne in the background would have been (obviously) brand new in 1966.
But to clarify, the MGA shown appears to be a 1955-1959 model (and MGAs were not produced after 1962 model year) – so the MGA might be new to them, but was not brand new at the time.
Maybe the little blue car is a second car
