They wouldn’t get a pizza that big, they would get two pizzas then cut 8 slices into 16.
Because pizza and corporate “free”lunches are all tax deductible, unlike raising salaries and paying overtime.
This is one of those memes that’s funny because everybody immediately knows the exact situation it’s talking about. Human beings really do create entire emotional storylines from one tiny interaction and then act surprised when reality doesn’t match the fantasy.
They don’t even give out pizza anymore. They just say this.
Just raise minimum wage.
Remember kids, every right, rule and regulation you as workers can rely on was paid for in blood, sweat and tears 😊

Our warehouse literally walks people out on the spot if they say the word union.
It’s amazing (derogatory) that anti-union propaganda actually works on some people, somehow.
It’s like if a known cannibal gifted you a bathbomb that smells suspiciously of spices and vegetable broth.
Nobody shuts down a thriving business because of unionization. That’s the cost of doing business. But if your franchise is struggling to the point where they feel they need to squeeze more labor from less people, creating the very conditions that LEAD to unionization, corporate’s not gonna put up with the headache.
My last employer brought food in all the time. Two people died from heart related illnesses. Probably just a coincidence 🤷🏿♂️
They always said “two pizza team” but there was never pizza, at least in school we got 1/32nd slices of pizza paid for by the teacher

Literally Memorial Day Monday.
The place I used to work at would have pizza parties sometimes. I called a local pizza shop to get pizza delivered for my lunch one day at work and I was told they don’t deliver there anymore because we ordered 15 pizzas and never paid for them. I was confused at first and said I always pay and they explained it again. I was able to convince them that I was an employee and not the company and they came out.
I was telling my coworker about the pizza shop and she said she needed her car inspected. She called the garage down the road and was told the same thing. The company took their fleet cars in, got them inspected and never paid.
After working there a decade, I had pretty much all of the local pizza shops tell me that they were screwed by the company.
My SIL was in the teacher’s union and she said that the company wasn’t paying school taxes and it was hurting the district because it was a lot of money.
Rich people aren’t rich because they spend money.
