    1. Well, how many have you found? There is one in this picture. Have you found a dozens? Hundreds?

that’s wild, didn’t expect to see those just thrown around like that. people really need to be more responsible with their waste.

Nature is healing. The cigarette butts finally found their keto cousin.

At least they don’t contain a lithium battery like the discarded vapes.

Sums up our society in a nutshell: People that only care about themselves.

    6. Shouldn’t these go in a sharps container? Seems like a biohazard just tossed on the ground.

    7. In my country you can also see steroid needles

      So this is an “upgrade”

Summer is starting, so I’ll find about 60 mini plastic Sutter Home bottles laying around my neighborhood 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ll never understand people who just throw trash on the ground. Cigarette butts, floss sticks, fast food wrappers, doesn’t matter. Just hold onto it until you find a garbage bin.

This is misleading as FUCK. Speaking as an American, at the peak 45% of Americans smoked on average 84 cigarettes every week.

GLP-1 is 12% of Americans once per week.

They are common trash but nowhere near cigarettes.

    11. The worst part is that the consumer might not be the reason why it’s on the side of the road.

Apartment complexes have switched to using this “valet trash service” bullshit, where they charged the tenants $50 more a month for this “premium service”. Then the contracted trash company hires someone for $20/hr and has to bring their own pickup truck to pick up the trash bags, throw them in their truck, and take them…. elsewhere. This results in fly tipping either due to malice or the incompetence of securing (and tarping) the load properly.

I don’t see cigarette butts and toothpicks much anymore, but these days I see a ton of their spiritual successors, empty vapes and single-use flossing tools.

Found one of these outside at my work and I’m starting to suspect my manager who has been losing weight rapidly is on the juice and hiding it from her family

    14. The title doesn’t match the thing. They’re no where near as ubiquitous as cigarette butts, or even vapes at this point. They’re both littered everywhere.

    15. justabill71 on

The real trash is the people who throw those things out on the roadside.

    16. nautilator44 on

Littering needs to be a felony. Fuck these people. There’s trash cans FUCKING EVERYWHERE for you to throw shit out in.

    17. Finding one on the ground is not the same as the thousand of cigarette butts on the ground.

Litter is bad, but this isn’t a trend loke the OP is trying to make it. They jist found some trash.

    18. I mean they’re not, this is an extreme outlier. No one is just injecting GLP shots to get high outside in a public space because they’re homeless lol

    19. Desperate_Jicama219 on

Who’s doing that while driving and just throwing it out the window? Isn’t that something to do in the privacy of your own home?

    20. New pollution. Like the white trash who spit their nicotine pouches in the urinal.

    21. I actually prefer a little glp1 while I drive also. Really helps take the edge off, and your car doesn’t smell like smoke after. I’m anxiously awaiting the release of a menthol version.

    22. Dr_Mantis_ToboganMD on

A lot of really stupid people in these comments.

I’d also wager nobody here has seen one of these as litter in their life.

    23. robmillhouse on

I’ve worked road construction for over 10 years and never EVER have I seen a toothpick on the side of the road. Now on the other hand, empty fireball shooters can be found at every mile post.

    24. SloppyJoesToe on

Wow. Turns out when something is no longer useful, assholes will throw them on the ground. Great post!
