IDK if this particular image is correct, but this is true in general. Many businesses have gotten in the business of purchasing slaves from the state, in 2026. They are paid essentially nothing for this (often cents per hour)
Mostly in the south
Republicans hope to expand this to include all of us, since they can only do this if we break the law, they need only define the law so any of us can be arrested at any time and be made a slave.
They do ***NOT*** have the option to refuse, if they do not work, they will be tortured until they do.

I’ve heard in some US states they are the ones running the fast food places in smaller rural areas.

I’ve worked bartending jobs where pretty much the entire back of house were work release inmates. Multiple times, specifically in Florida Applebee’s. They were inmates without violent records and it was pretty clear from talking to them any infraction made “on the outside” would be punished more harshly than if they did the same thing in the prison. Applebees was responsible for picking them up and taking them back everyday. Almost everyone I worked with said they did it to be around non inmates so they felt like they didn’t have to be on guard as well as for the higher quality food( which considering it was Applebees should say something about prison food lol).
THEY WERE NOT SHACKLED IN ANY WAY TO THE BUILDING OR EQUIPMENT. Not only a fire hazard but restaurant kitchen are dangerous enough without everyone dragging a chain. By that I mean this picture is a fake.

Not new. This was literally how they kept slavery going after it ended. Get someone in jail and buy the bail or rent them out. While it was primarily used on blacks in the south, it wasn’t exclusive to them. Happened for a long time until after ww2 when they cracked down on it since it was technically illegal since 1860s.
