The Trump administration’s inhumane cuts have made life more difficult for people in the most need.
New York City is smartly responding by developing a revenue plan to raise funds in an appropriate way. Billionaires have grown their wealth through the hard work of people that need help. It’s appropriate to raise funds by taxing those same billionaires.

I like to think I make decent money these days. But going to the laundromat and dropping five dollars minimum on a single washer leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Hard to fathom how people with lower paying jobs are making do.
The trump cuts to SNAP, Healthcare, safety net funding means that all cities and states are going to have to raise taxes one way or another.

This is exactly the reason why we need younger people in politics with new ideas and who are intuned to the 21st century. The old hags like chuck Schumer and Trump are still living in the 1970’s and all they care about is spending $1.5T on military and Israel. We don’t need to spend that amount on the military when we are already the most powerful military in the world, and we don’t need to fulfill Israel’s agenda…we need to take care of our citizens and our people. I hope we get this ancient folks out and get some dynamic progressive leaders in.
