Athletes are regulated by some governing body above them. Congress is regulated by Congress. It’s not hard to figure out why their rules are more permissive.

Earlier this year, Giannis announced he is a shareholder in Kalshi a day after the trade deadline where there was so much speculation and betting on where he would end up. It’s a clear conflict of interest and it’s only going to get worse and worse.
