Every time I put my sheets ot towels in the washer or drier. Its a pain to get it separated and if its in the drier I get the dreaded clammy feeling of damp laundry that makes me wanna scream

What are the odds of that, 46 years of laundry and I’ve yet to have a towell dumpling.

    3. this is cool and i would def take a picture but id also be pissed i had to run the machine again

For washers without an impeller (the spinny bit sticking up in the middle), you’re supposed to load clothes in a donut shape around the outside. That will help reduce dumplings.

Now, if anyone has advice how to avoid fitted sheet dumplings in the dryer…

This is a washing machine and not a dryer Op.

It’s another reason you have to load agitatorless washers in a donut shape. The big reason is so it actually washes your clothes.

    7. For a second I thought this was r/mokapot and you wanted help on how to clean it lol

Thats impressive. If only it was the other way around so you could pull it out in one go

Took me a minute to realize your towel didn’t disintegrate and turn into dust

Yes. This will seal in the moisture, so it’s warm and steamy when you open it up. I hope that’s what you wanted.

    11. this happened to me once with a double quilt cover and it took me 40 minutes to free my clothes 🫠

    12. To anyone saying this always happens to them: if your washer is top loading without an agitator then load the thing like there is one, otherwise the water movement will make the dumpling

wonder if the first cells where created with similar mechanisms; various parts tumbling in brine until some parts where caught in a “blanket”
