Second time in just over a week this has happened to me. Just last week had the entire theatre (another one) for the Sheep Detectives film.

Huh. How would you rate the movie itself?
It’s a bit concerning there aren’t more people going to see it.

And you know it’s really empty because the Germans haven’t put their towels on the chairs up front 🤷🏻

Probably when I read your title, my first thought was, “There is a new Star Wars movie?”

My theater was more than half full for it. Probably the most I’ve seen in a while too

My theater was sold out so it’s fascinating to see the range on this.

Before Covid the theater by my house that was kinda hidden had $4 matinees and I almost always was alone no matter what movie and I miss those days and that theater lol

My wife and I also had the entire theater. I liked the movie.

it’s almost like it’s a BAD idea to make a movie that’s based on a tv show that requires an overpriced subscription to watch, and that it has an extremely limited pool of viewers

I like when this happens personally.
Especially at our local theater which is like half the cost of any major chain.
Personal theater 😀

Dang. You have to do all the loud talking, plastic bag crinkling and popcorn munching by yourself.

I’ve skipped over so much press with that Groku doll – I literally didn’t realize there was a movie. I thought it was press for the next season of the TV show, haha.

Remember when movies were affordable? This photo says a lot.

I took my 2 kids to see it. Just movie tickets was $63. Not even an imax screen. No wonder people aren’t going to movies these days.

Edit: oh shit, now that I’ve looked at image more closer, it’s AI

Blame Disney and their chasing of short term profits for the brand dilution of the Star Wars. No one cares anymore.

Can’t believe we’ve come to the point where the *”Let’s fight somewhere empty”* meme could apply to a new Star Wars film. The state of this franchise is lamentable.

Should have been released on May 4th.
That was a really stupid miss of an opportunity.
