Jeff is something of a photographer, and has at least one interesting camera that I saw when I saw him in public. It might have been some kind of panoramic camera.

    2. For anyone wondering, this is a Panon Widelux spinning lens/turret camera (I believe a F7). The lens whips from one side to the other to make a panoramic image about twice the width of a normal 35mm film camera. Jeff Bridges used these cameras on set nearly his whole career and has two photobooks (out of print). You can find many Widelux shots on his website.

He has become one of the most prolific user/expert of the Widelux camera and he and his wife partnered with a company to revive the camera which is on preorder now (you just have to sell a kidney). I have a Widelux F8 and it’s really fun but limited.

    3. I thought it was Chad Kroeger from Nickel back saying, “look at this photograph”.

    4. Jeff loved taking photos and took a panoramic camera to capture such beautiful moments

Great photo. You got the lanes in the background, the bowl of nuts on the bar, and Mr. Elliott has the whole cowboy thing going. It’s like they stuck a POV camera into a sarsaparilla bottle.
