      OP’s parents definitely enjoyed some salads made with jazz cabbage, and the devils lettuce.

      I love it. I have one of my parents around the same time with my dad dressed as an astronaut and my mom an alien in full green body paint.

      Out of interest, what was the number one song 40 weeks before you were born? Odds are you were conceived to that song.

      It bothers me that photos from the mid to late 80s look like I expect ones from the 70s to look. Like a lot of what we think of as 80s style is really more of the 90s. Those glasses and the reddish tint in the dark areas of the photo scream 70s to me.
