To put the icing on the cake, he also claimed that he had a healthcare plan ready to go the moment “Obamacare” was repealed.
The strange thing is, the vote was incredibly close in the Senate and if there had been a viable healthcare plan ready that Congress could immediately begin working on, Trump would have probably gotten his wish to destroy the ACA.
Basically, he was done in by his own lie and laziness on that.

In early 2016, Trump said he already had a health care plan, one that would result in better care at lower cost, while covering everyone. He also proclaimed “nobody knows more about health care than I do.” Yet 10 years later we still haven’t seen that plan. Golly gee, I wonder what happened to it? Quite the mystery….
