My pops, probably 1980, on a roadtrip with my mom relocating from California to New Jersey in a Volkswagon bus

My mother whenever she sees this photo will say “your father had the sexiest legs, I married him for those legs”. I guess I have my dad’s legs to thank for being alive, so I can never hate on it. He’s no longer with us, but he was the epitome of “my dad can beat up your dad”. That man loved speed and acid and blasting music as loud as possible. But, he was a wonderful father to 2 daughters during the years we had him. Hope y’all enjoy this ~old school cool~ picture.

(Also, in case I get asked: they when from CA to NJ cause they were in the labor trades and Atlantic City was being built. My dad was originally from NJ and he had been rambling for years and finally decided to come back home when he met my mom. And no, he wasn’t dropping acid as a dad. That was his younger years… but, speed was a different story.)
