      You know. Ethiopia really is badass. Resists European Colonialism, manages to be Christian even in the face of the Arab Conquests and all the other Islamic States nearby. And kept it up all the way until 1935.

      That is impressive.

      The Solomonic Dynasty I think is the longest lasting dynasty in history?

      That’s just Africa in general really

      People might know about Mali mainly because of Mansa Musa, but other pas of africa such as Benin, Songhai, Ghana and Mogadishu are rarely talked about which is a shame, they’re actually so cool
