tbh formal age doesn’t matter, looks is what matters. We all have seen “1000 yo” kids in anime

    2. They think people thought of the age or something when they like these designs. When that’s not the case. And it’s not the same liking a drawing that liking a real person. Although liking certain young characters can be weird.

    3. In anime it doesn’t matter at all. Drawings with arbitrary age.

Hell even in IRL. The reality is if you don’t know a girl is underage because she looks like a young adult, there’s a good chance you’ll find her attractive. Tho once you know, you do the responsible thing and stop looking or thinking about her.

But with anime, nah responsibility is out the window as it’d unnecessary. Enjoy yourself.

    5. Generally it’s the attempt to not normalize it. If it becomes normal in one place that will be where they point to when they try spreading it farther

a certain group of people when the character is old but looks young – 🤬🤬

Same group of people when the character looks like an adult but is young – 🤬🤬

I was called names when I said I found ino hot. Apparently it’s wrong since she isn’t 18. But I was her age when I liked her.

    7. It’s a story about her and a boy her own age. If anything, you’re expected to put yourself in Gojo’s shoes and imagine what it would be like in that situation. Do we pretend that Highschoolers don’t date?

Unless they look explicitly like a kid, i don’t really care enough to give a fuck

Age in anime only makes me uncomfortable when there’s an underage person and an adult (and it’s treated like something normal) OR when it’s blatant sexualization of a CLEAR child.

Marin is clearly sexualized, but she’s never shown as a child and it’s a romance story between her and a boy her age. People have hormones, we don’t have to be prude about it.

yup and going to college i noticed alot of girls still look like they can be in high school. i usually check id to be safe. did that with the last couple xs cause one from behind being so short u legit could confuse her for a kid. and the 2nd one when she showed me pics of her sister who is 17 i kinda went um show me ur id cuz u 2 legit look the same age im scared 😿

so i can get people not liking the age. but i also find it funny when people throw a hissy fit over aging up anime characters or saying x person looks like a child when u can look 17 well into ur 20s or even 30s 😭

thats basically my entire stance on that topic, if the drawing is meant to be sexy its sexy thats all there is to it.

    12. The reason to be upset about the show adds to the normalization of sexualizing young girls specifically normalizing men sexualizing young girls in their minds which is not okay. Yes teens date and have sex and that can be depicted but the way it’s depicted in MDD is for the viewers pleasure.
