Thomas Jefferson publicly expressed opposition to slavery throughout much of his political career, describing it as morally corrupting and dangerous to the future of the United States. He argued that slavery violated the natural rights principles central to the American Revolution and supported certain efforts to limit its spread into new territories. In works such as Notes on the State of Virginia, Jefferson warned that slavery damaged both enslaved people and slaveholders and believed the institution should eventually disappear from American society, even though he struggled to reconcile those beliefs with the economic and social realities of his time.
Well also tho he spoke against slavery, the practice was otherwise.
He had 600+ slaves working on his fields

Near the end of his life, he had a nail factory filled entirely with children slaves. So that’s… cool.
Also Sally was his father-in-laws child (by rape, of course). So just a fun lil’ somewhat incestual twist to an otherwise totally normal relationship between a 14 year old and a 45 year old.
Fuck Thomas JefferSCUM!
So many founding fathers were rapist and racist. Some things never change.

In fact there are many mixed race descendants of Thomas Jefferson still around today.
There is no serious historical evidence that proves Thomas Jefferson had children with/raped his female slaves. Most likely it is political propaganda from the time so effective that it made its way into pop history forever.
He’s just like me fr
