My “America losing its national identity bingo card” is getting pretty damned full these days. I’ve already marked down Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the press, A government of the people for the people, and now Honoring the Troops. If Trump stomps on an apple pie to uproarious applause tomorrow, that’s a bingo.

Bro like wtffff you can absolutely support a “one military, no identity politics” approach without scrubbing public history sections about women and minority veterans. Those stories are part of the us of a militaries history whether people like DEI politics or not. If the pages still exist somewhere, fine, but making them harder to find after taco trump or sloshy Pete’s instructions about race and gender was obviously going to look bad.
