    1. It just pops out.
      Fixed in a second.

Had an 07 Corolla with the same design. They just clip into place.

And flipped the other way all it did was collect dust as I never put coins in it
Useful if you deal with toll roads or bridges maybe, especially the ones that took special tokens

    2. Center console is my coin holder, hit a big bump and it sounds like I’m diving into Scrooge McDuck’s coin pool.

It’s where you hide your car boogers when you are knuckles deep in your nostrils, duh.

The ‘05 Corolla was my first new car purchase 3 years out of high school so I knew the model just by looking at the photo. It’s my back up car now since I’ve recently purchased a RAV4. Anyways with the coin holder you can just pull it out and change the orientation.

Installed upside down? Or maybe, just maybe, at some time in the last 21 years someone popped it out and turned it over?

    6. Actually it’s right side up. It’s the rest of your car that’s upside down.

As a side note, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with coins there. I’d be afraid they’d be projectiles in an accident.

If that single piece doesn’t pop out with a trim tool, the panel over the top will. You can turn it around easily

I honestly didn’t realize that was a coin holder till just now. I sold that car over 10 years ago.
