I went to chichen itza during the insane heat wave in 2024. I’ve been to the Amazon and Central America and never felt so hot in my life. The locals told me they never felt so hot. It was 43c. I have never felt so close to the sun and it’s easy for me to see why they were so interested in astronomy

**Wonders created by europeans**: “Wow, they were so advanced for the time”
**Wonders created by any brown people**: “No way they could have done this, it must have been ancient aliens”
