This is a good day for justice folks. Kilmar is not the only victim of government persecution, but we have to remember that this all started because the White House sent him to El Salvador by mistake and continued to double and triple down on their error. He deserves freedom.

Think he can get some cash because the DOJ was weaponized against him?

Would be great if he gets a bunch of money from trumps slush fund. Or is that just for the Jan6 domestic terrorists and trumps crooked friends?

    4. Amazing. Now we have to push for thousands of others that were wrongly accused to receive freedom and protection from this nightmare

    5. With a judge ruling this was a “selective and vindictive prosecution”, that’s pretty easy grounds for multiple civil lawsuits. He couldn’t sue the prosecutor directly, but there were a lot of people in the chain of command that ordered these cases to be brought, knowing they were BS. Pure malicious prosecution driven by a political agenda.

He should totally be able to sue for enough money that he never has to work again. It just sucks that, ultimately, it will come out of our pockets. Trump- and his enablers- should really be the ones to pay for this.

If anyone needs compensation, it’s ALL THE CITIZENS and immigrants who were/are illegally detained by ICE. Where’s their $1.776 billion?

    8. It’s he FREE FREE, or just *free*? Like, is he forever left along (unless he commits a crime) or is this just the latest turn of events in the timeline?

Can’t wait for a statement from DHS saying that they’re done harassing him now….oh, wait. No, they’re still going to try to deport him.

Will he be able to collect on the $1.7 billion fund reparations as a political prosecution?

Cool, can they put something in place to make sure DoJ leaves this man alone? Like this is 50th time they’ve gone after him and got rejected

    12. This guy has been through absolute hell. I’m glad it’s finally over for him and can return to his family. Trump and the rest of this fascist regime need to all go to prison for the rest of their miserable lives.

This DOJ sucks. US used to have like a high 90% conviction rate. This admin is torching that grade and it’ll take decades to recover.

Good I hope he pursues a lawsuit. As someone who was actually unfairly pursued by the government he and the rest of those terrorized by ice deserve that 1.776 billion dollars way more than any of those traitor criminals do.

    15. That poor guy really got wrung out. I wonder how much money was expended for all this?
