Well, the free tier is fine for the most part, if you don’t mind Cleopatra’s annoying podcast ads.

They were their own spotify. Enjoy your daily ration of beer around a warm fire or in your camp with your fellow workers. Chew the fat, tell stories, and sing songs. A wonderful reward for a hard days work, one they likely found more joy in than we can ever understand given our easy access to base pleasures.

Growing up in 90s Kerala, before all the tech boom and globalisation, whenever we see a bunch of people working in unison, they used to sing songs, sometimes with proper lyrics handed down through generations, or songs with some gibberish, but always on the beat of the work they were doing. It is pretty fascinating to watch, all their movements will be synchronised to that song so nobody misses a beat and the entire team runs like clockwork.

I was gonna say they had slaves to sing for them, then I remembered the workers were the slaves themselves.
