Galindo’s views have been condemned by both state and national Democrats. Politicians from AOC to Greg Casar, the Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, to both the Democratic nominees for U.S. Senate and Governor in Texas (Talarico and Gina Hinojosa) have rejected her candidacy and have all endorsed her primary opponent, Johnny Garcia.
