He grabs the slinky like, “I am master of this contraption,” and the slinky immediately replies, “Incorrect. Prepare for *boing‑based humiliation* i have my own funny animal news story pic image thing here lol [https://omg10.com/4/11036060](https://omg10.com/4/11036060)

Can confirm, this works like a charm, it’s the only thing that does, and it’s HUGELY ENTERTAINING watching them try to defeat it. For me, it was just the first day; they gave up after that. But man, what a day.

    3. Squirrels are very smart. I want to know the result of leaving the slinkies up for a couple of weeks. I bet a workaround is discovered.

I have these on all my bird feeders and the squirrels do not care at all. They figured out how to deal with them in one day.

    5. What goes down stairs, alone or in pairs? A hit with the boys or girls.
A spring unfurls, protects you from squirrels.

      Everyone knows it’s Slinky

This guy needs to get government funded to just invent stuff. That is pure genius.

    7. The duck is cycling through three thoughts:

      1. Are you stupid or somethin’?
      2. Can I eat this thing?
      3. Can I fuck this thing?

This only works temporarily. Squirrels will literally never stop trying and eventually find out they can slowly climb up it and stick their hands through the metal coils. Or full send it and hope for the best, resulting in your slinky getting bent and completely worthless. I think it took about 3 hours before my squirrels conquered the slinky.

    10. # Tree rats be gone!

If it works well, this should be used everywhere (also repurposed pot lids or gabage can lids for the tops if they jump down from a tree to land on it). Bend them more cone-shaped before installing.

    11. I tried this for a while. The squirrels eventually figured out to reach thru the slinky & grab the pole.

It’s going to figure out it can jump on the table and then onto the feeder

    14. Technically the squirrel *IS* holding onto the slinky.

What he can’t do is hold onto the pole
