There is a hibachi restaurant near me that just has random stock photography throughout the menu, completely unrelated to the food, Japan, or anything else that would make sense.
If late fees accrue on the 5th, then it’s due on the 4th, not the 1st.

That illustration looks completely out of place next to actual rent numbers.
There’s something refreshing about simple, tacky flyers clearly made by some ordinary office worker who isn’t that tech savvy compared to something needlessly glossy designed with Canva or AI.
Almost like you can envision the kind of person who made it and the sort of day they were having. I’ve worked with people where making some dinky little flyer was the most urgent and important part of their day.
Did you know some states actually have laws on when rent can be considered “late”?
I think last I looked into Maine, it was like the 17th. lol
I choose to believe the 3-hole punch implies they have a binder full of these for every occasion.
Guys, this is actually really progressive, if you actually read it;
If you fail to pay your rent on time, you’ll *acquire the late fees* of your neighbours, allowing you to slowly build up towards paying your rent on time!

There’s also a 5% convenience fee for paying with a credit or debit card, a 3% convenience fee for using Venmo, a 2% convenience fee for paying by check, a 1% convenience fee for paying with cash, and a 10% inconvenience fee for using any other method.
More interesting that a notice had to be posted. Isn’t it normal for people to pay rent on the 1st with a few days grace period?
