I always assumed he was in his 60s when I watched the og trilogy as a kid. I was blown away when the same actor played Palpatine in the clone wars

I had the realization that Ian was Palpatine in both trilogies just a couple months ago and it wrinkled my brain so hard I had to double check the credits on multiple sites just to be sure.
