I honestly think posts like this are more of a negative Nancy. Constantly nitpicking Democrats instead of focusing on the massive warts of Republicans is part of the problem. Positive action is much more effective. Be the change you want to see. Organize politically. Vote for candidates you like most in primaries. Otherwise energy is better spent opposing Republicans.
Better things aren’t possible because Republicans exist.
The same corporations and super pacs that donate to Republicans also donate to Democrats. Democrats are paid by the Healthcare Industry to prevent Universal Healthcare. Although I’d argue that Dems have had 4 years of control of the Office of the President, the Senate and the House of Representatives at the same time versus Republicans 8 years since 2000. 2 under Obama, 2 under Biden versus 4 under Bush and 4 under Trump come the end of 2026. A supermajority is needed for that.
The important thing is that you found a way to shit on the democrats in the midst of the most incompetent and corrupt republican administration of all time.

I tried to be a dsa member and then I realized most of them weren’t voting past the primaries. If you don’t vote your optimism is ignorance.

Any Democrat that says something “isn’t possible”, after literally watching Trump do plenty of supposedly impossible things for evil, needs to be primaried. When people realize the playbook doesn’t actually exist and we start putting in people who aren’t part of the problem, we’ll actually get somewhere.
For those contemporarily naive, plenty of Constitutional “laws” have been broken and there have provably been no checks and balances to stop tyranny, in reality, there is zero justification for *not* breaking those same laws for the benefit of the majority instead of the rich… for once.
