I don’t understand how there’s no repercussions for the caller in America.
Imagine deploying a whole task force just because grandma hoarded too many diamonds in a game.
The SWAT has to treat every tip as real. Because one day it could be real.
That’s just how it works.
SWATting needs to be a felony……if they can find the person who did it.

Don’t know about third world countries like the US but in European countries, the police and other law enforcement/first responders are legally obliged to follow an emergency call. Its not like a Pizza shop that simply blacklists numbers. Only thing you can do as a streamer is calling them yourself and tell them that from xPM to xPM they’re streaming at this Adress and to not send anyone there….but even then it could be taken as a decoy…

I wouldn’t be surprised if the caller was some healthcare executive fuming at the thought this lady was going to be able to afford cancer treatment out of pocket
The punishment for swatting should be what happened to the person getting swated. Physical harm, charge them. Mental stress charge them. People have died from swatting. If someone died I think that should count AT LEAST as manslaughter, maybe even criminally negligent homicide with immediate aggravating factors. Shitty people do shitty things… hope gma is ok
