Aren’t there a ton of heavy metals in Utah’s great salt lake? Would they be removed by whatever process Morton uses?

What you’re calling “Lake Salt” is really “salt lake salt” both with superfluous quotation marks.
You know what is silly? A salt grinder.
Guys salt is not a spice with volatile aromatic compounds that benefits from being ground up at the last second. Salt is a ROCK.
So buy it pre-ground at whatever consistency you want. Fine ground or coarse, flaky or rounder. No point having a grinder, use a shaker.

Id like to know more about the limit on refills. Are they knowingly using blades made from a metal that will corrode over time?
The literally definition of sea salt* includes drys salt lake beds…
So… are the heavy metals in the drying Utah lake included for free? I wasn’t sure if that would affect shipping prices.
