I remember being impressed with a friend when I was a kid because his parents had central vac 😄
This brought back fond recollection of my own grandparents’ wood-paneled living room… Also~ that sofa! 😻
And the neighbors would say, “Look at those rich, show-off pricks paneling their entire livingroom.”

My son rescued one of those horse ashtrays from a garbage pile. It sits outdoors on his porch.
I thought no-show socks was a fairly recent style, but here your mom wore them over 50 years ago.
