As a kid, I’ve always felt bad for mojo jojo because he turned out the way he was due to a lab accident and the consequent abandonment by professor utonium. Also I didn’t like the professor that much.

Craig really put a lot of Japanese pop culture references in the show I remember some monsters being based on Godzilla enemies like Hedorah and King Ghidorah
The band The Gorillaz is canon to the Powerpuff Girls universe by being referenced in an episode.
This is solidified by the fact that Ace is featured in the song “Humility” by The Gorillaz and throughout the album “The Now Now” where he subs in for Murdoc who’s in jail at the time.
