This is why I don’t trust the polls when they say blue wave for the mid terms. People in red states are drinking that Fox News kool aid.

Yet another lesson in Rdt is not reality. All the garbage he’s doing in office that are clearly illegal and unethical — there are people who not only accept it but actively want it.

Dems election line for November: Trump got rid of all the people who wanted pedophiles held accountable

Why are people still being surprised that Repubs do these things? Short term memory loss? MAGA voters voted for the candidate they think will make the people they hate suffer, and that’s enough for them.

But sure – let’s welcome Repubs into other parties with open arms. I’m *sure* that they learned their lesson. /s

Apparently Pedophilia still isn’t a deal breaker in Kentucky… So let’s be honest, what chance did the guy calling out the pedophile ring have?

It is pretty impressive that with every turn of an election cycle, especially in primaries, hard-core MAGA voters in the reddest places continue to double down on dogshit and prove to neoliberals delulus, establishment republican cowards, and normal Americans that they truly are the most rotten people on the planet and that they truly deserve everything they don’t realize they’re voting for

    7. It’s not a political party, it’s a religion. Been that way for some time now. It literally doesn’t matter what Trump or his people do – the faithful will obey.

What’s rotten in America is when a large portion of the electorate identifies as independent and they are effectively shut out of the primary process.

As someone who lives in Kentucky, I am so fucking depressed and disgusted. I have lost all hope.

Vote manipulation test. Check. Rock solid for the “red wave” in midterms. Fuck.

    11. another 70 year old fossil… a person that should be in a retirement home has no business running anything and has no interest in the future… Why do people keep voting for fossils.

    12. The first guy in the Republican party to actually work and wield his power as a congressman to force the release pf the Epstein files.

And Republicans respond by voting him out of office.

They just love raping kids I guess.

    13. It’s going to take a long time for them to realize why progress was made in the first place, and then even longer to get back to where things were before they started burning it down. The saddest realization I’ve had in recent years is that nothing is going to get better in my lifetime.

    14. I don’t care for Massie in particular, but the actual reason he lost wasn’t Trump’s ostensible opposition, more insidiously Massie was heavily outspent by outside groups. Powerful pro-Israel groups (including a Super PAC linked to the Republican Jewish Coalition) and the pro-Trump group “MAGA KY” poured millions into negative attack ads, punishing Massie for his frequent votes against foreign aid and missile defense. Foreign spending by outside groups abetting Trump’s corruption have undue influence over our politics.

    15. We don’t have free and fair elections anymore. get used to this until something is done to fix it.

No, the Republican party is actually doing exactly what it was designed to do. So, in a way, there is nothing wrong with it. It’s the Americans who keep electing it or not voting who are not right.

    17. Angry-Closet on

It’s because all the decent candidates are pushing for release of the pedo files and persecution of the ones involved. The pedo in charge can’t have any of that ofcourse.

    18. Cults gonna cult. Nothing surprising about their vile and moronic behavior.
