It’s sad because my dad used to be able to pay the bills on one salary as a mechanic and my mom could stay home.
Now I can’t pay the bills without the help of my wife and we both make significantly more than my dad ever did. It makes planning for kids impossible if she can’t be home for a few months without working.
Cost of living increases have plagued several generations now and it’s just going to get worse unfortunately.
