You and your siblings must all be older, because there’s no way to swing this with littles lolol

By number of books, I used to read way way more than that in 2 weeks, when I had two toddlers 😉

Sometimes I would sit down and read the same entire book 3 times in a row.

    3. With the price of books nowadays, I hope she has a library card!

I used to read like that when I was a kid. I would take a big cardboard box to the library every time I went. All I did was read.

As an adult, ain’t nobody got time for that and reading puts me to sleep.

My wife was a reader for a movie studio back in the day. This was pretty much her week. Read all this and provide coverage. The worst was when she’d come home with a “weekend read” and spend all day Saturday & Sunday reading and writing coverage. She’d finish a book or two and probably several screenplays. It was crazy. She’d retain all of it. She did it for several years.

    6. To celebrate your mom, we need to know: are the pages actually printed or is she just speed-reading blank journals? Love her! 💗

She’s a fast reader! My wife is disabled, she reads all day every day, but doesn’t get thru that many.

    8. I just pictured a lady with a giant pulsating head and it kinda radioactive glows a little under certain lighting conditions.

I can’t wait for retirement to do this. I only have time for like 15-20 pages a night and it makes me sad

My mom probably does that amount 2-3 weeks. Been awhile since I’ve asked specifically. But its her favorite way to relax

    14. That’s my mother too but she’s always been like that, even before she was retired. She’s constantly running out of books to read. I remember her leaning over the kitchen table reading the newspaper front to back then picking up her book when she was done.

That’s pretty badass. I do audiobooks, I wish I had the patience to sit and read…I did when I was younger.

I remember when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night when I was a preteen. My mom was up and reading a book on her laptop. It was released that night and she didn’t want to wait for the physical copy to ship.

I’m not retired and I run a business and I still read four to five books a week. Sometimes more. I read for the first few hours of day because I get up early and then I read in the evenings also. But I also read insanely fast and that makes a big difference..

I think what you’re reading matters. If it’s slop like Colleen Hoover, I’m sure anyone could read that much in a week.
