    1. mid grade cheaper than regular? that’s a glitch in the matrix, fill up before they fix the sign😏

I am in san diego and gas in my area was $6.79. I just wanted to share that because I have been shocked all day. took $82 to fill my car up this morning

    3. Gas has an expiration date of about 6 months. The regular is in higher demand as people usually use regular or premium. May be a case of older mid grade product trying to be sold at discount before the expiration hits.

    4. Dumb question.. is it ok to put premium in your vehicle that normally takes regular?

today might be the only day in history anyone has willingly selected mid grade

      Nobody needs mid.

Boosted (turbocharged or supercharged)? Run premium.

      No boost? Run regular.

      Who runs mid??

It’s not broadly cheaper it’s just not going up as fast as fewer folk use it, next time it gets delivered then it will be at the higher price.

Some sites reprice fuel on delivery

    8. If anyone wants good news it’s still $3.99 in the Midwest, and I’m getting 50 cents/gal off regularly thanks to grocery points

I don’t know the actual difference in grades of gas. To save money, what happens if you put the mid grade gas in the car?

Pro tip: if you have the 7-11 app, it saves a ton of money. You can lock the price (I locked in at 4.04 the other day even though it’s 4.45 now) plus I’ll get a 85 cent discount on top of that. The gold pass is $8 a month which gives you a discount on gas plus you get 7 free drinks a month (slurpees!) and food/ cigarette coupons which add up to well over the $8. There’s gas promo codes online plus they text them out frequently.
