      I climbed the chichen itza back in the 90s. Not sure if that’s permitted anymore.

      I wonder how many of these were known about before they were “discivered”. Like the Greek stuff you’d think the story’s were passed down verbally forever.

      Is it just me who’s having a hard time understanding the scale of the Ziggurat of Ur? The lack of humans or other things I know the size of makes it a bit difficult to gauge

      Chichen itza was not an excavation, it was a reconstruction and remodel of an old pyramid. Everything, including the serpent shadow and the figures were done with little historical context. Its a scam. A modern pyramid made for tourism purposes.

    7. Stop stop stop. The conspiracy theorists will say it was never there. They just built it up to make us think the world is older than 2000 years!
