Moved to a new state i visited as a kid here and there and I went to my cousins car dealer buddy to get a car.
Tells me take a right and gun it bro, feel the car out.
Hit 85 in a flash(camaro 2ss). Look over and his face is PETRIFIED, mans didnt warn me theres a school right next to the car dealerships….. quiet U turn and slow ride back.
Mans is getting married and loved to bring that story up when we get together.
Did end up getting the camaro but like 2 years later.

i was doing 60, speed limit, at night and got to a tiny town that was 35, without realizing it, it was foggy, the train tracks on the edge of town “politely” encouraged me to slow down.

Hot take: high schools shouldn’t get school zones. If you don’t know to not play in the road by the age of 15ish that’s on you bro.
