The Yugoslav Wars were a series of separate but related[13][14][15] ethnic conflicts, wars of independence, and insurgencies that took place from 1991 to 2001[A 2] in what had been the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The conflicts both led up to and resulted from the breakup of Yugoslavia, which began in mid-1991, into six independent countries matching the six republics that had previously constituted Yugoslavia: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, and Macedonia, which was later renamed to North Macedonia. The breakup of Yugoslavia and the accompanying Yugoslav Wars are commonly attributed to increasing nationalism and unresolved ethnic tensions in Yugoslavia. While most of the conflicts ended through peace accords that involved full international recognition of the new states, they resulted in the deaths of many as well as severe economic damage to the region.
The Bosnian genocide[b] took place during the Bosnian War of 1992–1995 and includes the Srebrenica massacre of July 1995 or the wider crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing campaign perpetrated throughout areas controlled by the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS).[8][9] The events in Srebrenica in 1995 included the killing of more than 8,000 Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) men and boys, as well as the mass expulsion of another 25,000–30,000 Bosniak civilians by VRS units under the command of General Ratko Mladić.

People who defend Serbia during the breakup of Yugoslavia are braindead.

Israel would never allow the US to side with an overt Christian nation, they were very happy we were killing Christians on their behalf

History gets real uncomfortable when people try to rewrite ethnic cleansing as “just politics.”

Be quiet guys, the geopolitics expert who learned everything he knows from a 4-minute YouTube edit of Serbian war songs is trying to explain why preventing a genocide was a bad tactical move.

Well if you think about it it had little to do with the morals of it all…
They just wanted to make a quick buck and avoid a broader, religious-ethnic conflict.

Ahh yes my uncle the Muslim separatist that died during the war. He definitely didn’t fight to protect himself, my grand parents and his two sisters from the serbs.
