    1. Take a long stick and poke it? if it is so dangerous, maybe it’s better to do a controlled release than to let it happen naturally… Not only it is dangerous for someone under, but also for someone over, who would have NO idea of this being under him until it “update”

Watching this without sound is an interesting trip of a disembodied hand being really exclaimatory

    3. You will never have to tell me not to go in a tight enclosed space because I’m curious. I will nope out.

    4. I understand people wanting to dislodge it with a big stick but the reality would probably be that you would be unable to collapse it and just make it more dangerous.

I was working EMT in Oceanside California one day and 5 mins after going on lunch a call came in that 3 women were crushed by a cliff collapsing on them on the beach while they were just hanging out. I wonder if the reason it collapsed is because of a similar issue to this.

I watched it twice and still can’t believe it didn’t cave in while he was talking.

    7. Ever see one of those little firecracker cannons that shoot firecrackers. This would be a perfect use of that.
(Definitely don’t do that, too dangerous)or is it?

1 minute waving around to say that there’s an opening in the cave covered only by sand.

    9. Just as dangerous to be on top when it collapses. Would be pulled under that sand and suffocate

At the intersection of “public service” and “chaotic good” is the job of patrolling the beach for these sand cave death traps and triggering them safely with grenades.

Seasonal work, to be sure, but in the winter you can go fire artillery into avalanche zones for the ski resorts.

How many ways can he say the same thing before he says the one important thing?

“despite appearances”? Hell no. Nothing about his cave looks stable.

A stable cave does not have water running in and out with tide. Soil anywhere at the sides or roof.

A cave that has been carved from limestone over thousands and thousands of years is stable. This is anything but.

I was waiting for it to collapse as he was pointing out the danger.

Kind of like that clip where a mudslide or landslide happens as a woman is describing the warning signs one’s about to occur.

Never enter an excavation or cave that has accumulated water (water dripping down)… I’m surprised he didn’t mention this because it’s very obvious here.

Water acts as a lubricant between the soil layers and increases weight.

    16. I went inside a cave in low tide, It was really cool inside and spent 5 minutes inside. When came back the next day to show It to my brother, a big stone had felt and was blocking the entrance/exit. It was eye opening
