I found these wonderful photos at an estate sale yesterday. I'm always stunned when I see things like this tossed away with no one interested in preserving them. There were boxes of framed family photos and dozens of stacks of photos. It makes me sad in a way.

Yes
Yes, often!
Yes. Oh the pretty dresses! Oh the hats!
But also Polio, child labor, Million man Klan marches down the street, no social welfare programs or protections, no social security, no food protections and no antibiotics. So No!
No, but I do feel it for times of my life that I did experience and people I miss.
Yes. I’d like to have a simpler life or not everybody’s tether to their phone or TV.
People are still getting way too close to bears. Something’s never change. Great photos, I’ve picked up boxes of slides on the street that turned out amazing. Thanks for saving these
Yes, particularly during pre-digital mid 20th century when the social dynamic centered around speaking to actual people and experiencing more of life in the outside world. There is a term for this feeling: anemoia.
I have a feeling there’s a name for this that isn’t nostalgia.
When my wife’s parents died we found old family album (1950-70s) from people we have no idea who they are. I was gonna throw them away (some day) but maybe Ill just find someone to take em now 😅.
All. The. Time.
