Context: Hanafi Muslims are known to have an answer for basically any question imaginable, even absurd ones. During the Islamic Golden Age they wrote thousands of pages dealing with fiqh (jurisprudence), when most others would not bother with some issues. So think of an absurd question, and there is a 90% chance a Medieval Scholar wrote about it somewhere.
The answer given for questions like the one in the meme:
“And God has made for you from yourselves mates”
[An-Nahl: 72, The Quran]
“From yourself mates” This mean marriage is between two humans, thats what from yourself means, from your species, another human.
So assuming, your cat somehow gained sentience, and have a humanoid body, it wouldnt classifies as a human, maybe akin to djinns, or maybe not, Only Allah knows what other creations are there besides humans, djinns, and angels.

This is unironically why there are such insane quotes attributed to Ayatollah Khomeini. He was still a despot but that religious quotes are dragged out of the context that he was answering questions. There have been also TV programs that do It in live and I don’t know if Muslim have a very twisted humor sense or if humans are really that absurd.
Edit: I remember watching this guy asking this other guy about what to do If accidentally food fell in his mouth during Ramadan and then he proceeded to explain a whole ass feast that accidentally It was supposed to have fallen in his mouth. The face of the theologian was insane.
this actually reflects a real difference in methodology between the schools 💀 hanafi fiqh has historically been more willing to engage with hypothetical and edge case questions to establish legal principles in advance. maliki tends to focus more on practice and madinah custom. one school prepared for the cat girl question. the other did not and made a different choice about that
