      That’s the NY I remember before moving in ‘78 when I was in grade school. Old man ran a saloon on the upper east side from ‘68-‘78.

      Last thing my Pop did before we left was take me to the top of the twin towers. I was thinking at the time it was going to be the Empire State Building.

      Old man been gone 12 years now…

It’s funny they would have taken that shot because back then you had to pay to develop photos and that is such a grungy shot – even then we would have thought so – it’s not like we had sepia filters on our eyes – or thought melting crusty snow looked nice. This photo in other words makes me want to ask questions – but that makes it cool as well. Thanks for sharing.
