    1. Imagine a colony on Titan, Mars, moon. Orbital spaceship construction, satellites on the far side of the moon. Nuclear propulsion, deep space bachistochrome missions to Alpha centauri. Fusion, physics, wealth, art.

For those reasons this can’t happen. Nothing ever happens.

Plot twist. Instead all of that money goes to the space force, and we get a Death Star instead. Unsurprisingly to anyone we then proceed to fire said Death Star at an impoverish middle eastern village, so we can then send billionaires to drain them of their oil.

This is more of a hunch though. Not a prediction.

Just need to convince them you can mine the asteroid belt and bring a few decently sized ones back for orbital bombardment. Their dicks will get hard and money will flow if there is a weapon involved.

Honestly we should slowly be shifting our focus to space. Our future is in the stars not to mention all the scientific breakthroughs that have positively affected everyone’s lives.

In star wars most spaceships are national defense and private shop made.

But we haven’t finished draining the natural resources, grinding them up, and spitting them into earth’s atmosphere yet. Why would we leave already?

    8. What the fuck is up with the slowed Macarena dance song. Like at least put the empire theme song on

Reason why NASA lacks funding because we haven’t confirmed existence of life outside of our own planet. Without life there’s no oil.

Meanwhile, this administration is proposing reducing NASA’s budget from $24 billion to $18 billion while increasing military funding to $1.5 trillion. The Space Force alone is set to receive $71 billion. Keep in mind that JPL has laid off more than 30% of its workforce, and NASA as a whole has lost 20% of its employees. Oh, and the current NASA administrator is a Musk plant who actually supports these cuts and is currently being accused of wanting to impound NASA funding.

    11. Highly unlikely. NASA is so full of waste. Look at the booster rocket being reusable!

NASA – You can’t reuse booster rockets!
SpaceX – Yeah? Hold my beer! *Lands and reuses one booster 33 times!*

A new booster costs between 37 and 60 million, a reused booster between 15 and 20 million. Reusing a booster 33 times saves a maximum estimate of 1.3 billion dollars!

This is why the government and government agencies have so much bloat!

    12. B-b-b-But we have to finance sending all those heroes to wartorn Hawaii, Aruba, Spain and France with room and board so they can… so they can um… so they can travel and um… exerciseYEAH FREEDOM

My contact on Pluto just said he found oil and nuclear material being held by enemies of the state there. No joke.

    14. If NASA had kept funding like it had in the 50s, and 60s humans would have been on Mars by the 80s.

    15. I doubt that Never A Straight Answer could make any of that happen even with unlimited funds they would fail.

I genuinely wonder what would happen if we spent more of our budget on things that could actually improve our lives as Americans like science, health and education

    17. Confident_Wash6225 on

One day space exploration will be important enough to be funded like that and I just hope it’s in my lifetime

    18. FatWithMuscles on

If we had focused on space travel as we did on war in the last 200 years we could already have footage from another habitable planet and our solar system would have dozens of colonies

    19. We would definitely have a colony on the Moon and Mars as well as some missions to the outer solar system by now.

❤️‍🔥we believe in better things than this current dystopia regime that we are living in

    21. But then… who’s gonna bomb kids in the middle east? Not the Europooreans.

    22. I’m not trying to take sides, but is showing up as the bloodthirsty evil empire. Really the look you are going for ?
