This love spell is very unique as it invokes the myth of Isis and Osiris during a period where Christianity completely replaced paganism as the dominant religion. It shows that Egyptian mythology was still passed down as late as byzantine Egypt in its last century, despite no longer being practiced. The full text further mentions christian entities from the bible, combining both christian and ancient Egyptian beliefs in one papyrus.
