I've never heard him speak ill of anyone but Republican presidents. A stoic gentleman that knew he won the American birth lottery. Born to polish immigrants, one of eleven, influenced by his old brothers he joined the service to expand his world outside of Youngstown Ohio. He found the love of his life outside a base in South Carolina. Worked hard and saved his whole life. Respected women, protected his family, welcomed the differences of cultures and just wanted people to be happy and kind. He just moved into memory care. He may not remember our names, but the same love is in his eyes.

Handsome. James Franco handsome but my first thought as a 71 yo was James Dean or Montgomery Cliff handsome.
I just buried my WW2 US Army (1943-1945) Wisconsin German Welsh English Dad at age 100.5.
Oh he was so upset with Trump when he could still speak in 2014/15/16. My beloved dad stated Trump was fascism and all fake show.
